Control System Integrator
Primary Responsibilities
• Participation in the neutron scattering systems control system and accelerator integration subprojects.
• Interaction with stakeholders respective division, development of EPICS based control system integrations, test and verification in collaboration with stakeholder.
• Periodic status reporting to work package manager, and active participation in the agile development team.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, technology or science.
• Experience in developing EPICS based control system integrations, or comparable software development background.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Excellent oral and written English skills.
Advantages
• Experience with controls for neutron instruments or proton accelerator control systems.
• Experience in scripting languages such as Python.
• Experience in Git/GitLab.
• Experience in continuous integration and test automation.
• Experience in HMI/OPI development in Control System Studio (CSS).
• Knowledge of other European languages.
