Test Engineer

Primary Responsibilities

• Hardware installation and configuration, including servers, in-house electronics, cabling, power, and connecting to network infrastructure.
• The focus extends to testbed setup, ensuring proper configuration of firmware, software, flashing firmware and cabling.
• The assignment includes developing and executing test frameworks to validate systems.
• Testing of various equipment.
• Automating processes using scripting.
• Configuration management, to always know what is installed and configured how and where
• Document test results
• To fit in this position, the candidate need to enjoy to take initiative, drive tasks and bring structure to a sometimes unstructured environment in motion. Good communication skills in this multi -disciplinary and –cultural project will be key.
• Periodic status reporting to work package manager, and active participation in the agile development team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in technology or science
• Experience from building, configuring and using lab scale tests setups in controls, networks, electronics or similar
• Experience from working with and servicing multiple teams in testing and testbed setups.
• A suitable candidate can provide structure and keep track on multiple systems and at the same time ensure that information flows
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent oral and written English skills
