Senior Test Engineer

Primary Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements, create and execute test cases at various levels for large software systems, for both the happy path and especially the edge cases to ensure a high degree of confidence in our tests,
• Create and maintain test automation frameworks and automate tests,
• Actively contribute to design and architecture discussions,
• Work along Agile methodologies (daily stand-ups, sprint plannings, etc.),
• Collaborate with various business and technology teams around the globe,
• Be proactive, find your way around, apply your excellent problem-solving skills,
• Work independently as well as part of a team.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of proven QA experience,
• Good test automation and coding skills,
• Programming experience in languages like Core Java1.8.0+/ Python 3.9.0 etc., as well as popular unit testing frameworks,
• Hands-on knowledge of one or more browser automation frameworks (Selenium 4.0, Cypress, Playwright, Protractor etc.),
• Experience with automation frameworks like Concordion (TDD) / Gherkin-Cucumber (BDD),
• Practical experience with Agile Methodology.

Adventages

• Experience with JIRA or other ALM tools to create a productive, high quality test maintenance environment,
• Some knowledge of Unix/Shell Scripting,
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD,
• Background in the Financial Services domain,
• ISTQB certification,
• Experience in working with partners and stakeholders across geography and time zones.
