Senior DevOps Engineer
Primary Responsibilities
• Participate in the design and development of the Modern Platform in rapid iterations to quickly produce a version that applications can start migrating to.
• Automate CICD pipelines to reduce lead time from code complete to prod deployment to the minimum possible with safety, reliability, traceability and regulations in mind.
• Work closely with developers and quality engineers to help them migrate/onboard their applications to the Modern Platform.
Requirements
• 5+ years of software engineering experience using one or more popular platforms (Java, .Net)
• Working Linux operational knowledge
• Deep knowledge of one or more popular continuous integration tools and build tools
• Experience in designing CI/CD pipelines and knowledge of CI/CD best practices and various deployment strategies (rolling, canary, blue-green, A/B testing, etc.)
• 3+ years of experience in designing/deploying containerized (Docker) applications to a Kubernetes orchestrated environment
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture
• Minimum BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
