Control System Technical Coordinator
Primary responsibilities
• Participation in the neutron scattering systems control system.
• Interaction with stakeholders, driving development of controls, monitoring and data pipeline.
• Plan test and verification in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Periodic status reporting to work package manager, and active participation in the agile development team.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, technology or science
• Project management experience, planning, driving, team size 4-10 people
• Experience with TCP/UDP network infrastructure design
• Experience of device integration into large control system
• Experience with IP network protocol
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent oral and written English skills are mandatory; knowledge of other European languages would be an advantage
Advantages
• Master’s degree or equivalent in engineering, technology or science
• Experience with designing GUIs
• Experience with EPICS Framework
• Experience with Python
• Experience with Linux OS
• Experience with hardware design for PLC based control systems
